Hire a Worker and Assign to a Position

A worker is a contractor or employee of the legal entity and is assigned to a position.

To hire a worker to a position, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Human resources > Workers > Workers.

  2. Click New.

  3. In the First name, Middle name and Last name fields, enter the first, middle, and last name of the person.

  4. In the Employment start date field, choose the required date.

  5. In the Worker type field, select the worker type, Employee or Contractor.

  6. In the Position Details section, specify values in the following fields:

    1. Position

    2. Assignment start

    3. Assignment end
  7. Click Hire.

    The worker record is created and assigned to a Position.
