Archived Earning Lines From External Systems Page

The Archived earning lines from external systems page can be used to view the archived earning lines. Earning lines that are in the Canceled or Processed status in the Earning lines from external systems page can only be archived.

Earning lines with the Cancelled status are archived manually using the Archive menu option in the Earning Lines From External Systems Page, and earning lines that are in the Processed status for which the acknowledgment is successfully sent to Azure Service Bus are archived automatically using the Send acknowledgement for payroll records batch job.

Access Method

  • Navigate to Modules > Payroll > Inquiries and reports > Earning lines from external systems.

  • When integrated with Anthology Payroll, select Modules > Human Resources > Integration with external systems >Inquiries and reports > Archived earning lines from external systems

Roles and Privileges

  • Users who have access to the Payroll > Inquiries and reports module can access this page.

  • When integrated with Anthology Payroll, users with the following roles can access this page:

    System administrator / CMC: Payroll chief supervisor / Human resource manager / Human resource assistant

The following tables describe the page controls.

Action button Description
Delete Deletes the selected earning lines that are in the Cancelled status.

Fields

Field Description
Name Name of the employee.
Position ID ID of the position assigned to the employee.
Earning code The earning code for calculating the earnings.
Earnings date The date associated with the earning line for calculating the earnings.
Quantity

The unit of measurement (hours / length / volume / load) for calculating employee earnings.

Note: This field displays values up to 5 decimal places, such as: 0.00000

Earning rate

The amount associated with per unit of work to calculate the earnings.

Note: This field displays values up to 4 decimal places, such as: 0.0000

Amount

Displays the amount received from Faculty Workload Management through Anthology Student.

Note: This field displays values up to 2 decimal places, such as: 0.00

Pay cycle The pay cycle assigned to the position for generating the earnings.
Pay period start date The start date of the pay period for generating the earnings.
Pay period end date The end date of the pay period for generating the earnings.
Department code The human resource department code associated with the position that is assigned to the employee.
Status The status of the earning line.

  • Cancelled - Indicates the earning line is invalid and cannot be used for further processing.

  • Processed - Indicates that the pay statement for the earning line is generated and submitted in Anthology Finance & HCM.
Error description The error description for earning lines with the Error status that was changed to Cancelled in the Earning Lines From External Systems Page.
Acknowledgment sent

A check mark in this field indicates that the acknowledgment was sent successfully to Azure Service Bus for the processed earning lines.

Note: After the acknowledgment is sent to the external system for an earning line, if its associated pay statement is reversed, the corresponding earning lines with the Processed status in the Archived earning lines from external systems page are removed and added back to the Earning Lines From External Systems Page with the status Imported, and the Acknowledgment sent field is retained as selected.
Source name Indicates the name of the external system where the earning lines are generated.

For example, if the external system is Faculty Workload Management, it will be CNS-FWM.
Rejection note The comments added for the rejected earning lines in the Earning Lines From External Systems Page.
Archived date and time The date when the earning line was archived.
