Background for the Values Displayed During Awarding
Some of the values on the tabs for the Awarding lists are pre-populated, estimated, and can be updated by Anthology Student. In most cases, the values can be changed.
Values That Can Be Pre-Populated
The table shows a few examples of the pre-populated values and their sources.
Source | Example Value |
---|---|
FAFSA or ISIR | Dependency Status |
Program version | Weeks in Academic Year |
If configured for the program version or you select a budget, all the values under Budget | |
Files imported from COD | For academic years, FA Entrance Interview Date from the Direct Loan Entrance Counseling Acknowledgment (CRECMYOP) file |
Values That Are Estimated
Anthology Student can also display estimated values. For example, Anthology Student displays estimates for the Start Date and End Date.
If your institution uses the Student Pace Evaluation (SPE) tool and a student is enrolled in a program version based on clock hours or credit hours without terms, the SPE tool will estimate start and end dates for payment periods, academic years, and graduation based on the instructional weeks it will take the student to complete all of the academic year weeks.
Values That Are Automatically Updated
Anthology Student can automatically update values if:
-
There are changes to the FAFSA or ISIR
-
Your institution is promoting package statuses automatically
-
Your institution is using the Student Pace Evaluation (SPE) feature
For information about the SPE feature and all the values it can update, see Background for Student Pace Evaluation.
Anthology Student cannot automatically update:
-
Financial aid that is packaged
-
Sequences that are completed or disbursed
