Background for COD Exceptions
The following table describes how to resolve exceptions that are found when COD files are imported into Anthology Student.

| Student not found | 000001 | The SSN in the file does not match an SSN of the student. | Update the SSN on the student master to match the file. | On the award, check if the origination status and batch ID are updated and/or records are populated in the Disbursements at COD section. |
| Award Not Found For Response / Web File | 000002 | An award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. | Create the missing award that will have a matching Award ID to the fund source that was provided in the file. | |
| Award Not Found For Booking Notification File | 000003 | A Direct Loan award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. | Query the database for values to be populated in the faloan table (select bookstatus, bookdate, * from faloan where fastudentaidid = <ID>) |

| Award Not Found For Credit Decision Override File (for Years 2014-15 and earlier) | 000004 | An award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. | On the award, select the Borrower/Stud Info tab, and check that the Credit fields are updated. | |
| Award Not Found for Promissory Note File | 000005 | A Direct Loan award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. |
On the award, select the Prom Note Info tab, and check the Prom Note Status, MPN ID, MPN Expiration Date, etc. If the MPN information has been updated and does not match, request a CRPN file from COD and import the file so that the MPN information (e.g., MPN ID, MPN Status, or Expiration Date) gets updated in Anthology Student. |

| Award Not Found For Negative Disbursement File | 000006 | A Pell grant award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. | Create the missing award that will have a matching Award ID to the fund source that was provided in the file. Additionally, export/release the matching disbursement number for the one in the file. | On the award, check the Disbursements at COD section. The record should appear. |
| Award Not Found For PLUS Application Acknowledgment File | 000009 | A Direct PLUS Loan award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. | Create the missing award that will have a matching Award ID to the fund source that was provided in the file. | On the award, select the Borrower/Stud Info tab. Under COD Credit Info, check that the values from the file are populated on the loan (Application ID, etc.). |
| Student Not Found For Subsidized Usage File | 000010 | The SSN in the file does not match an SSN of the student. | Update the SSN on the student master to match the file, and create a matching Direct Loan for the award year and type. | Navigate to the Subsidized Usage form. You should see a line for the record in the file. |
| Award Not Found For Credit Status File | 000011 | A Direct Loan award cannot be found to match the award identifier in the file. | Create the missing award that will have a matching Award ID to the fund source that was provided in the file. | On the award, select the Borrower/Stud Info tab. Under COD Credit Info, check that the values from the file are populated on the loan. |
| Award Not Found for Origination Fee Percentage Response File | 000013 | On the award, select the main award, confirm the Bank Fees, Net Amount, Rebate Amount have been updated and/or the disbursements on the Schedule Disbursements tab have been updated to display the values from the file. | ||
