Using Property Tables in Talisma Client Help

This topic contains important information that will help you when reading the Property tables provided in the Client Help.

Each topic provides tables that describe the Properties available in the relevant Object window. Some Properties can be modified, while some are read-only. Read-only Properties are dimmed in Talisma Client.

Legend for the Tables

•   The Value Updated by column indicates whether the values of the Properties can be specified by the User, are automatically updated by Talisma, or by both. For example, the value for the Account owner Property is automatically updated by Talisma, with the name of the User who created the Account. The value for this Property can subsequently be changed by the User.

•   The Property Can be Edited/Deleted column indicates whether the Property itself can be modified or deleted from Talisma Business Administrator. For example, the Business Administrator User can delete the Notes Property if it is not required in the Properties tab of the Account window.

•   The term Group within parentheses indicates a group of Properties. For example, Address (Group), and Company Info (Group).

•   A * next to a tab name or Property indicates that it is mandatory for a value to be specified for that tab or Property, for the Object to be saved. For example, when you create a Canned Response, it is mandatory to type text in the Content tab, for the Canned Response to be saved.

Personal and Custom Tabs

In addition to the tabs described in the Property table topics, you can configure the Personal tab and create Custom tabs for all the Objects and Campaign elements.

Personal Tab

This tab lists Properties that are defined as personal for the User currently logged on to Talisma Client as TalismaAdmin. As the Business Administrator User, you can configure the Personal tab in Talisma Business Administrator, view the Personal tab in Talisma Client, and define its Properties.

Custom Tabs

You can customize Talisma by creating user-defined or Custom Tabs. These Custom Tabs can store groups and Properties that have specific relevance to a department, or work function in your organization.

Note

The Business Administrator User may change the names of the editable Properties. The tables in this book must be read with the custom names in mind.
