Configuring Duplicate Criteria for the Lead Object

When you create a duplicate check configuration for the Lead Object, and apply this configuration to Talisma Components, Talisma Duplicate Check Manager performs a duplicate check when a Lead Object item is being created by the Talisma User, or as a result of the Talisma Higher Ed Foundation iService request.

In Talisma, Team is a predefined Property for the Lead Object. A Team can be of type Campus, or Department.

Hence, when a new Lead is being created, the duplicate check for the Lead must be performed to check whether a Lead with the same Campus Property value is already created in Talisma. This is achieved by creating a duplicate check Configuration for the Lead Object, and associating this Configuration with a particular Campus.
