Navigating in Workspaces
You can use the F6 and CTRL+TAB keys to navigate between panes and Components in a Workspace.
Using F6
F6 enables you to navigate across panes in a Workspace. In a Table View, F6 enables you to move between the Left pane and the Table View. In an Item View, pressing F6 will take you from one pane of the Item View to another.
Example • You have created a Workspace with three panes. Pressing F6 will take you from the current pane to the next pane in this Workspace. Pressing SHIFT+F6 in the current pane will take you to the previous pane. • You have created a two-Pane Workspace that contains a Table View, and an Item Tab. Click an item in the Table View. Pressing F6 will take you to the Item Tab of the selected item. • You have created a two-Pane Workspace that contains an Item View based on an Object other than Interaction, and an Item Tab. Select an item. Pressing F6 will take you to the Item Tab of the selected item. |
You can also use the TAB key to move between panes in a Workspace. Pressing TAB when you are at the last Item in the current pane will take you to the next pane.
Using CTRL+TAB
CTRL+TAB enables you to move from one tab to another in the Left pane of a Table View. Press CTRL+TAB to move to the Users, Teams, and Search tabs. Press CTRL+SHIFT+TAB to navigate between the tabs in reverse order.
In a Workspace Item View, use CTRL+TAB to navigate between Tabs.
You can also use CTRL+PAGE UP and CTRL+PAGE DOWN to navigate between the Components of a pane in a Workspace.
Note • Navigation in Workspaces also depends on the following: ◦ If the Workspace contains a base Object, different instances of this Workspace will open in different Windows if the context passed to them is different. ◦ If a Workspace does not contain a base Object, navigation to an already open Workspace will take you to the Workspace without opening another instance of the same. • The Windows menu lists all the Workspaces that are open. From the Windows menu, select the Workspace you want to view. |
