Anthology Student Tools

Starting with the DbTree tool, we have created additional tools that greatly help with using Anthology Student. We have redesigned the delivery of all tools to be under one. Depending on which tool you use, only one installation is required to house them all. Using Microsoft’s ClickOnce technology, the tool will enable you to accept any updates seamlessly.

• Anthology Student DbTree

  The original DbTree has been redesigned with a new look and features to simplify working with the Anthology Student data dictionary. New features introduced in this version are the new graphical UI, more powerful data grids, advanced filtering, and Excel exporting.

• DbCompare Report

  The database compare report allows your institution to report against your databases. This is especially useful for upcoming upgrade changes. This tool provides an Excel format identical to each upgrade release, but specific to your database schema changes.

• Configuration List Items Audit

  This tool is designed to assist those who would like to track their List Item configuration changes and later compare them to new changes applied. Along with the configuration tool, we use the Spreadsheet Compare 2013/2016 that comes with the Microsoft Office installation.

• Crystal Reports Search Tool

  With a large number of reports included with Anthology Student, as well as client-specific reports, it can be a daunting task to find a report tag that enables some specific report handling on the Report Selection form, or a field not used often. We have developed a Crystal Reports Search Utility that will start with a directory of reports and either do a search for a specific string (such as “Enroll Date”) or dump all of the field data for later examination.

  The Crystal Reports Module installation is required to use this tool.
