What You Should Know
Release Overview
Anthology Finance & HCM 5.0.0 completes the out-of-the-box (OOTB) integration with external systems e.g., Faculty Workload Management (FWM) and certification of Anthology Payroll (Loki Advanced Payroll) with various Anthology IPs (IPEDS, Faculty Management, and Federal Work Study). Additionally, in this release, we have introduced the Decentralized Purchasing feature that simplifies and shortens the purchasing process in institutions. Other enhancements in this release include streamlining the pending deposits and positive pay file features.

Release Highlights
Anthology Payroll Integration to External System Integrations
Out-of-the-box (OOTB) integration with external systems e.g., Faculty Workload Management (FWM) and certification of Anthology Payroll (Loki Advanced Payroll) with various Anthology IPs (IPEDS, Faculty Management & FWS) is now complete.
Clients using Anthology Payroll now have an OOTB integration with Faculty Workload Management (FWM). The integration architecture is generic and uses Microsoft Azure Service Bus architecture. Anthology Finance & HCM and Anthology Payroll publishes a list of Human Resource (HR) and Payroll entities to be consumed by external parties and accepts earning lines for payroll processing. The IPEDS and Faculty Management functionality has been certified to work when integrated with Anthology Payroll. Additional work has been done to stabilize Federal Work Study processing when integrated with Anthology Payroll.
Decentralized Purchasing
Institutions have a need to simplify and shorten the purchasing process where a centralized purchasing department/team is not available to manage the procurement process. To address this requirement, we have introduced the Decentralized Purchasing feature in Anthology Finance & HCM that extends the standard Procurement & Sourcing offering of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
Pending Deposits Enhancement
Pending deposits functionality has been enhanced to make it more user-friendly and streamlined with accepted business and accounting practices. Users can now choose how to process pending deposits, the related forms and processes have been enhanced to use this choice.
Positive Pay File Enhancement
This enhancement ensures that the correct recipient details are sent to the Positive Pay file when the payee is someone other than the student i.e., Lender, Parent, Sponsor etc.
