Release Highlights

Human Resources

• Enhanced Data Integration for HR Employee to synchronize Staff with Anthology Student Records

  In our latest update, we have enhanced the data integration between Anthology Student and Anthology Finance & HCM. When you are using Anthology Finance & HCM to create employee, the staff records in Anthology Student automatically receives updates, and all address-related data synchronizes with the corresponding fields in Anthology Finance & HCM.

• Enhancement to Staff Group Assignments for Staff created in Anthology Student when integrated with Anthology Finance & HCM

  With our latest update, Workers are now be created as either teaching or non-teaching Staff, based on your configuration settings in Faculty Management and the HR module.

• Faculty Management Integration Status on Instructor Form

  We've made enhancements to the integration flag for Faculty Management within the Instructor form. As part of this improvement, the integration flag is now non-editable directly on the Instructor form, providing an accurate and real-time representation of the Faculty Management integration status with Anthology Student.

• Enhancements for Position Group in Anthology Time Management

  We are introducing enhanced feature for data management. You can now import data using the Position Group along with other Position data using the generic Positions V2 entity . In our ongoing efforts to improve, we have also made a specific data entity read-only, which means you can still export data but won't be able to import it through this entity.

• IPEDS Reports

  We have enhanced the detailed report capabilities that allow you to validate the annual IPED survey submissions, ensuring data accuracy over time. we have introduced the option for you to run the reports in either Summary or Detail format. By default, the Summary option displays the consolidated totals for each report, while the Detail option shows a breakdown of data for each individual report. These are available for below reports which includes:

  • Staff by faculty status and occupational category

  • Salary outlays by academic rank

  • Salary outlays by occupational category

Fund Source Management

Enhanced Validation for Fund Source Deletion

In this release, we are introducing important enhancements to our Fund Source management.You now experience improved controls when attempting to delete Fund Sources in Anthology Finance & HCM.

• Associated Transactions in Student: If there is an associated transaction in Anthology Student for a Fund Source that has not been released to Anthology Finance & HCM, attempting to delete the Fund Source in Anthology Finance & HCM will be restricted. An informative error message is displayed: 'Error deleting fund source *****. Fund source in use. Cannot delete.'

• Student Award Associations: Similarly, when a Fund Source is linked to a Anthology Student award and no transactions exist in Anthology Student, you cannot delete the Fund Source.

Enhanced Logs for Anthology Payroll batch process

In this release, we have enhanced the 'Update Data for Anthology Payroll' batch job by improving its exception logging. This update simplifies troubleshooting with clearer, user-friendly error messages for Earning Code and Worker Position entities.

The batch job now logs distinct and comprehensible exceptions for each entity and provides clear success messages, including the number of records processed. Additionally, if the batch job encounters issues, error messages are prominently displayed.
