Release Overview

We are excited to share these highlights for the Anthology Student 22.4 release. Your feedback is invaluable as we build solutions to serve you. For our next release, our intent is to make it easier for you to do your job, continue to develop a seamless student experience, and support process and program needs among all institutions.

Anthology continues to improve performance and reliability in the product as described in the Resolutions section of the release notes as applicable.

Timeline

August 23, 2022 - Anthology Student 22.4.0 Available

Upgrade Rollout Plans for 22.4:

  • Cloud 2.0 — This update will be applied to your nonproduction environment(s) within two business days and your production environment within 12 business days.

  • Cloud 1.0, CampusNet, and on-prem customers — If you would like to apply this update, please submit a CSR, and scheduling will occur based on availability.

Release Highlights

For the Students

  • With the portal DPA, Students can now select electives for Areas of Study as well as Program Version courses and can remove electives they had selected previously but are not registered for.

  • Students can now search in online registration course search by course attributes and published course code increasing search efficiency.

  • In anonymous course search, community members can search for courses by their attributes and published codes, increasing search efficiency.

  • Students can see more information in their profile within the portal including their middle name and residency status.

  • Students can now edit their degree pathways and email their pathway plans. This allows students to create draft pathways on their own.

For the Office of Academic Records

  • The Batch Catalog Assignment tool has been updated to successfully process students with multiple areas of study selected, reducing manual record maintenance time and increasing efficiency.

  • An effective date for Areas of Study is now available on the student record.

  • The DPA will now evaluate the minimum GPA requirements for equivalent courses and for substituted courses in associated enrollments.

  • In the DPA, Manual Course Fulfillment is now available within elective pools.

For the Business Office

  • For those administrators working on faculty load management, a new batch process for load validation is available significantly reducing manual processing cost.

  • Added Refund Check Register report to the Anthology Student Web App.

For the Financial Aid Office

  • Regulatory updates with FISAP 2021-22.

  • A new configurable ability to lock a student’s ISIR so that the ISIR being paid on is not updated by new ISIR submissions.

  • Automated R2T4 calculation updates including an ability to run automated refund calculation jobs by status change, student group, or a combination of both.

  • Automated Re-Packaging updates continue, including an ability to configure how award level increase, decrease, or an overaward can be adjusted by the past, current, or future term as well as the disbursement status of paid or scheduled.

For the Entire Institution

  • Regulatory updates with the IPEDS Annual Release 2022-23.

  • Institutions now have the ability to display only 4 digits of the SSN on the student profile, increasing the information available to staff per multiple client requests.

  • Student Search now allows the institution to view the school status of each student enrollment, reducing the time to identify the student enrollment that is needed.
