Release Overview

We are excited to share these highlights for the Anthology Student 23.0.0 release. Your feedback is invaluable as we build solutions to serve you. This release is focused first on improving your experience across the system through bug resolutions and usability enhancements. Our intent is to make it easier for you to do your job, continue to develop a seamless student experience, and support process and program needs among all institutions.

Anthology continues to improve performance and reliability in the product as described in the Resolutions section of the release notes as applicable.

Timeline

December 28, 2022 - Anthology Student 23.0.0 Available

Upgrade Rollout Plans for 23.0.0:

  • Cloud 2.0 — This update will be applied to your nonproduction environment(s) within two business days and your production environment within 12 business days.

  • Cloud 1.0, CampusNet, and on-prem customers — If you would like to apply this update, please submit a CSR, and scheduling will occur based on availability.

Release Highlights

For the Faculty:

Faculty can post attendance for hybrid and various days and times classes – this has been a top request from many of our clients.

For the Office of Academic Records

  • Additional flexibility to handle more complex institutional use cases with DPA requirement rules. Institutions can now factor in Program Version with both Standard and Advanced Requirement Rules types.

  • New capability in Advanced Search to easily search by last 4 of Social Security Number and Last 4 SSN is available in the Customer Student Profile Header.

  • Option to present student’s SSN in the Student Portal so that they can verify the number as used in 1098T or other reporting or identification purposes.

  • Improved usability of degree pathways for students in the Portal - students can now see course details in their pathway view.

For the Business Office

  • Great Plains integration is now available for our clients in the Anthology Cloud.

  • Enhancements to the ACI payment provider integration including an ability to indicate the transaction fees calculated and collected by ACI and the option now during payment transactions to consider saving credit card information for future payments in the ACI funding portal.

  • Numerous usability enhancements including a new Subsidiary Ledgers report and accommodation of large datasets with the ledger card report.

For the Financial Aid Office

  • New ability to flag a fund source to be displayed in the Student Portal by selecting the new "Display award in Student Portal" option on the configuration page for fund sources.

  • Track more information on fund sources with extended properties; track information for state, private, and institutional funds for reporting purposes and data views.
