What You Should Know
Release Overview
We are excited to announce the release of the Anthology Student - Student Experience micro-service. This service introduces the Financial Aid Overview functionality in Portal version 23.2.1 and is an alternative to the Award Letter menu item under My Financial Aid with the Financial Aid Overview menu item in the Student Portal.
This release also contains enhancements to Student Accounts, Portal, and Student Services.
Anthology Inc. continues to improve performance and reliability in the product as described in the Resolutions section of the release notes as applicable.

Upgrade Rollout Plans for 23.2.1:

Cloud 2.0 — This update will be applied to your environments in accordance with your Master Services Agreement (MSA).

Cloud 1.0, CampusNet, and on-prem customers — If you would like to apply this update, please submit a CSR, and scheduling will occur based on availability.

Release Highlights
Financial Aid Overview
The Financial Aid Overview functionality includes:
- A landing page for students with multiple enrollments
- A Financial Aid Offer page with the following components:
- Academic year views
- Help content
- Alerts for holds and documents
- Summary of Estimated Remaining Cost
- Cost of Attendance (Estimates)
- Award details for grants, scholarships, loans, work-study, and other funding
- Students can accept or decline funds and view the award status
- Students can reduce loans amounts prior to accepting loans
- FA staff can receive notifications about accepted/declined funds and loan amounts
- Content displayed on the Financial Aid Overview page can be configured in the Anthology Student web app under Configuration > Student Experience > Financial Aid Overview
- The Portal Admin Console facilitates easy migration of Existing Portals to use the new Financial Aid Overview menu
The Student Experience micro-service requires upgrading the Anthology Student web application to version 23.2.1.
Student Accounts
The 90/10 logic for reporting periods starting on 1/1/2023 or later in Anthology Student (web app and legacy) has been updated to report the non-federal portion of a commingled fund source in the first category of “Funds from Other Non-Federal Resources” and applies it toward the eligible institutional charges first. The federal portion of a commingled fund source is reported in the “Funds from non-Title IV Federal Sources” category (existing functionality).
Student Services
For indicators:

Institutions can now have more than 25 indicators that need to be searched by code and name
Portal
To ensure connectivity for externally integrated applications, you can now configure multiple IPs using a list of outbound IPs.
