Release Highlights

Addition of Registration Relationships in Class Scheduling

In a major step forward in class schedule management, Anthology Student now supports relationships between course sections to ensure specific sections can be allocated to specific student populations per major, program, student group, student indicators, and more. This behavior can be made bi-directional with one click and can be copied with section copy across and within terms.

Support for Complex Requisites

Schools can now configure a course as both a pre-req and a co-req. This will allow support for more complex requisite scenarios that schools support and reduce on hand support needed in registration.

Ensure Skills Earned Through Courses Track to Career Services

Continuing to support our institutions who track skill development as part of their programs, Anthology Student now supports the automatic assignment of skills on the successful completion of courses.

Usability and Process Improvements

  • Significantly reducing manual work associated with course management and catalog updates, Anthology Student now supports the ability to fully copy all components of courses in a batch process. Now catalog courses can be copied in full, easily, and quickly.

  • Within the new Self Service for Financial Aid, schools can now copy items from one campus to another eliminating the need to duplicate configuration, glossary items, and renewal requirements.

Making Data Access Easier

  • Schools can now view an audit of the LDA entered on Faculty Portal on the Course Status Audit so a complete trace of the record is visible in the system.

  • Schools are now able to create data views to look at details when multiple faculty are assigned to sessions inside a course making details about class assignments easier to see.

Partner Integrations

Institutions can now publish information about student documents when the document status has changed to the Azure Service Bus. This information is useful for CRM interactions and for document management integrations.

Regulatory and Compliance Updates

FAFSA Simplification has caused a major overhaul in how schools process Title IV financial aid. While there are still delays in making the FAFSA available to students, we have added the ability for schools to configure budgets, package new awards for the 2024-25 Award Year and award Pell with the new formula calculations based on 2023-24 Award Year amounts. Schools will also see terminology changes from EFC to the new Student Aid Index acronym, SAI.
