User Administration Enhancements

Anthology Digital Assistant 1.2 introduces the Customer Administration Portal. This is a web application that enables clients to administer configuration items such as bot name, host URLs, email addresses, skills and channels for their specific Digital Assistant implementation.

Previously, all Digital Assistant configurations were included in the Internal Administration Portal which can only be accessed by Anthology staff. Now, clients can administer their own settings for Tenant Configuration, Skills, and Channels in the Customer Administration Portal.

The settings that are now available in the Customer Administration Portal have been removed from Internal Administration Portal (previously known as ReneeAdminWebApp).

Multi- Language Support for Chat

Anthology Digital Assistant now provides multi-language support for English, French, and Spanish.

In the Customer Administration Portal, clients can select the languages they would like to use along with the default culture. The Digital Assistant displays language selection messages to the visitor based on the default language configured for that tenant.

When clients configure languages they wish to support in the Customer Administration Portal, a script updates the BotQuestionResponseEntity in Anthology Reach with the FAQs for each language.

When the cognitive model is extended with custom skill bots, localization is supported as well. For every incoming activity to the bot and any activity the bot sends back in response (i.e., for each turn), the CurrentCulture is updated based on the selected language.

When a visitor wants to chat in a language other than English and then wants to chat with an agent, the Digital Assistant has the ability to transfer to agents that can respond in the selected language. When transferring a chat to an Anthology Reach user or Live Assist agent, the bot can select an agent with the appropriate RENEEESCALATE skill.

Bot Name Configuration

Clients using channels other than Anthology Reach/Live Assist, can now configure the bot name within the Customer Administration Portal under Tenant Configuration > General settings.
