Release Overview

Financial Aid Automation 23.2.0 provides multiple enhancements within auto awarding, auto refund calculation, and student fund management. 23.2.0 also provides resolutions for reported incidents in auto awarding, auto refund calculation, and exception management.

Timeline

Upgrade Rollout Plans:

  • Anthology Cloud 2.0 - This update will be applied to your environments in accordance with your Master Services Agreement (MSA).

  • Anthology Cloud 1.0, CampusNet, and on-prem customers – If you would like to apply this update, please submit a CSR; scheduling will occur based on availability.

Release Highlights

This release contains the following enhancements:

  • Auto Awarding Considers Any Fund Not in Fund Source Priority Order as Locked

    Any fund source manually awarded to a student and configured with an Automated Awarding Fund Source Priority value of “0” will not be edited for an increase or decrease in value nor will it be canceled or deleted.

  • Auto Refund Calculation Enables Users to Manually Process all Refund Calculations for a Specific Program Through Student Accounts

    Automated Refund Calculation creates refund calculations for students within a campus and program that is configured and in an Active status on the Automated Refund Approval Percentage & Freeze Date form. Users can activate/deactivate records.

  • Student Fund Management Provides the Ability to Load Awards/Disbursements via Excel Sheet

    Users can import awards and disbursements into Financial Aid > Awards using the Excel template attached in Help. The system will collect the related student information for Student Fund Management either from the SSN or Student Number and display it as a batch for further processing.
