Release Overview

Financial Aid Automation 23.3.0 enhances auto awarding, auto refund calculation, student fund management, and COD file import. The release also provides resolutions for reported incidents.

Timeline

October 18, 2023 - Financial Aid Automation 23.3.0 Available

Upgrade Rollout Plans:

• Anthology Cloud 2.0 - This update will be applied to your environments in accordance with your Master Services Agreement (MSA).

• Anthology Cloud 1.0, CampusNet, and on-prem customers – If you would like to apply this update, please submit a CSR; scheduling will occur based on availability.

Release Highlights

This release contains the following enhancements:

• Automated Awarding

  • High School Academic GPA added in the Automated Awarding Fund Source Rules

  • School-defined fields in Automated Awarding Fund Source Rules retain data type definitions and decimals for numeric values and support additional operators

  • "Net Amount Packaged” column added to Automated Award Review Summary

  • New exceptions AWARDPOP0037 and AWARDPOP0038

  • Automated Repackaging awards up to Eligible Year-Round Pell amount of 150%

  • Auto Repackaging reduces ineligible FWS only to the sum of disbursements paid

• Automated Refund Calculation

  • Preventing duplicate refund calculations for “Active Not Attending”

  • Hiding the start and end dates of the payment period in “Step 2: Percentage of Title IV Aid Earned” when reviewing the R2T4 for Clock Hour programs

• Automated Student Fund Management

  • New Staged Records tab

  • Option to create a new batch on the Open Batches tab

  • New batch status "Partially Processed"

  • External file upload supports multiple files

  • New NSA permissions

• COD

  • New database table and auto-match/auto-update functionality for imported CRCS, CRSP, CRWB, and CREC files

  • Enhanced logging for CODEXPRT0059
