Release Overview

Financial Aid Automation 24.1.0 enhances auto awarding, auto refund calculation, disbursement eligibility, financial aid exceptions, and COD file import. The release also provides resolutions for reported incidents.

Timeline

Upgrade Rollout Plans:

• Anthology Cloud 2.0 - This update will be applied to your environments in accordance with your Master Services Agreement (MSA).

• Anthology Cloud 1.0, CampusNet, and on-prem customers – If you would like to apply this update, please submit a CSR; scheduling will occur based on availability.

Release Highlights

This release contains the following enhancements:

• Automated Awarding

  • Updated Automated Awarding detail report by FAFSA Simplification

  • Disabled Enrolment Allocation configuration for all fund sources by auto packaging

  • Updated bank fees on academic year budgets

  • Calculate the accurate Pell Grant amount for each student in Test mode

  • Repackaging applies term/non-term payment period enrolment allocation on cancelling disbursements

  • NSLDS data field "TEACH Pmt (1, 2, or 3) Grade Level” with a drop-down list to configure numeric values

  • Adjust disbursements based on the "Aggregate Outstanding Principal Balance" and "Grant/Perkins Information

• Automated Refund Calculation

  • Creating a refund calculation for R2T4 and IR per enrolment by program version

  • Allowing exempted R2T4s to have approved IR calculations

  • Enhanced IR worksheet view

  • Displaying the Institutional Refund (IR) Calculation worksheets in the default display order

• COD

  • View file transactions made under FAA COD import process under the History tab

• Disbursement Eligibility

  • New Automated Disbursement Eligibility exception ELIGBLTY0227

  • Use Est Award Year COA & Pell COA to evaluate Pell amount

• Financial Aid Exceptions

  • Users can resolve dynamic exceptions
