Canceling an Appointment on the Portal

Portal users can “cancel” an appointment only if they originally scheduled it themselves through the Book Appointment page.

To cancel an appointment on the portal, the portal user needs to:

  1. Log on to the portal and view the My Appointments page.
  2. Click the X mark in an appointment that needs to be canceled. The Cancel Appointment dialog will be displayed.
  3. Type a reason to cancel the appointment and then click Save.

The appointment will be canceled and removed from the My Appointments page. Simultaneously, in Anthology Reach, the activity record that was created when the advisor accepted the appointment will be marked as Canceled.

Note: The canceled appointment slot will then be displayed as available in Anthology Reach and on the portal.
