Area of Study Tabs and Properties

The Area of Study Object is a Shared Object in Talisma. The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Area of Study Object.

The Area of Study Object contains the following tabs:

•   Properties Tab

•   Share Tab

•   History Tab

•   Categories Tab

•   Enrollments Tab

•   Leads Tab

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Note 

In a scenario where your organization has integrated Talisma CRM with an SIS, values of Properties will be automatically updated when Talisma CRM is synchronized with the SIS.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Area of Study Object.

External SIS ID

A unique identifier for the corresponding Area of Study item in the SIS.

Name *

The name of the Area of Study item. For example, Psychology.

Owner

The Talisma User who created the Area of Study item. By default, the User who creates the Area of Study item is its owner.

 

Created On

The date and time when the record was created.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Last Updated

The date and time when the record was last updated.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Code *

A code for the Area of Study item.

Active *

This Property can have one of the following values:

•   Yes - Indicates that the Area of Study Object item is displayed when you search for the Area of Study Object item in the Area of Study field of a related Object.

•   No - Indicates that the Area of Study Object item is not displayed when you search for the Area of Study item in the Area of Study field of a related Object.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Program Version

The Program Version that is associated with the Area of Study item.

Type

Indicates whether the Area of Study is Major, Minor, or Concentration.

Minimum cumulative GPA

The minimum cumulative grade point average required to apply for the Program.

Required Credits

Minimum credits required to complete the Program.

 

Share Tab

This tab lists the Teams in which you have the Manage Area of Study Permission. The Teams with which the Area of Study item is shared are selected. This selection can be modified.

When creating an Area of Study item, you must share it with at least one Team.

History Tab

This tab lists the actions performed on the Area of Study item. For example, if an Area of Study item is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Area of Study item. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Area of Study Event options from the Event tab.

Note 

When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information, about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Categories Tab

This tab lists the Categories created for the Area of Study Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Area of Study item by selecting one or more Categories.

Enrollments Tab

This tab lists the Enrollment items associated with the Area of Study items. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Enrollment in the Enrollment window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Enrollment Tabs and Properties”.

Leads Tab

This tab lists the Leads associated with the Area of Study item. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Lead Tabs and Properties”.
