Order Tabs and Properties

The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Order Object. Values for these Properties are set from Talisma Client.

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Order Object. Values for these Properties are set in Talisma Client.

Order Name *	The name of the Order. This is a free text field. Maximum number of characters: 255.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Order ID	A unique identifier for the Order.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Contact *	Contact with whom the Order is associated. You must associate either an Account or a Contact with the Order. When an Account is not specified, setting a Contact is mandatory.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Date created	Date on which the Order was created.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Opportunity ID	If the Order was generated from an Opportunity, the relevant Opportunity ID is displayed as the value for this Property.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Revenue	The total value of the Order. This Property is computed based on the total revenue from all the Products associated with the Order. Click to calculate the value for this Property. Formula: Revenue = Sum of values in the Amount column of the Purchase List tab.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Account *	The Account with which the Order is associated. You must associate either an Account or a Contact with the Order. When a Contact is not specified, setting an Account is mandatory.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Owner	The User who is responsible for closing the Order.		Cannot be edited or deleted
State	The status of the Order. An Order can be Active, Inactive, or Closed.
Team *	The Team to which the Order belongs.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Freight Charge	The cost of shipping the Products associated with the Order.
Sales Tax Rate	The rate of sales tax to be applied while computing the value of the Order.
Campaign	If the Order was generated from a Campaign, the relevant Campaign ID is displayed as the value for this Property. An Order that is created manually can also be linked to a Campaign. You can modify the value for this Property. To do so, click in the Campaign Property row, and select the required Campaign from the Set Campaign dialog box.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Mobile	The mobile phone number of the Order		Cannot be edited or deleted
Shipping (Group) The Shipping Address for the Order. These Properties are free text fields in which you can type a maximum of 255 characters.
Street	The address of the Primary Contact associated with the Order.
City
State			Cannot be edited or deleted
Country
Zip
Phone	The phone number of the Contact associated with the Order.
Ship Date	The date on which the Order is shipped.
Ship Method	The method by which the Order is shipped. To be able to select a value from the Ship Method list, values must be created in Talisma Business Administrator.
State name #	The State and Country details of the Primary Contact associated with the Order.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Country name #

Categories Tab

This tab displays the Categories created for the Order Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Order by selecting one or more Categories.

Interactions Tab

This tab lists the Interactions for the Order. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see Interaction Tabs and Properties.

Contacts Tab

This tab lists the Contacts associated with the Order. It also lists the Contacts associated with the Interactions linked to the Order. For information about the Properties displayed in the Contacts tab, see Contact Tabs and Properties.

History Tab

This tab displays the actions performed on the Order. For example, if an Order is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Order. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Order Event options from the Event tab.

Note

When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Purchase List Tab

This tab lists the Purchase Lists for the Products associated with the Order.

Property	Description
Product Name	The name of the Product associated with the Order.
Price List	The name of the Price List.
Base Price	The unit price of the Product before any discount. By default, when a Price List is added, its associated List Price is displayed as the value for this Property. This value can be modified.
Quantity	The quantity involved in the Order. This value is expressed as a number, and is provided after considering the UOM (Unit of Measurement). For example, De-lite Chocolate is a confectionery Product for diabetics. The UOM is Kilograms. The Quantity is expressed as the number of Kilograms involved in the Order.
Discount %	The percentage offered as discount for the Product.
Amount	The total amount generated from the Order. This is a computed Property calculated by multiplying the base price of the Product and the quantity sold. If any discount is to be offered, the discount amount is deducted to arrive at the net amount. Formula: (Base Price * Quantity) - Discount. Click to view the updated value of this Property.
Date of Sale	Date on which the Product is sold.

Personal Tab

Lists Properties created for the Personal tab in Talisma Business Administrator. The tab is visible in Talisma Client only for the User who created these Properties. Note that the Personal tab is visible for the User only if the User has created at least one Property for the tab.

Columns Displayed in a Related Object Tab

Contact and Interaction are the Objects related to the Order Object. These Object tabs display Properties as column headers. You can customize the columns that are displayed in these tabs.
