Product Tabs and Properties Product Tabs and PropertiesThe tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Product Object.
The Product Object contains the following tabs:
Before reading the descriptions in this topic, see “Using Property Tables in Talisma Client Help”.
The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.
The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Product Object. Values for these Properties are set in Talisma Client.

Product Name * |
The name of the Product or service being sold. For example, MyProduct. This is a free-text field. Maximum number of characters: 255. |

This tab lists the Categories created for the Product Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Product, by selecting one or more Categories.
This tab lists the Teams in Talisma. The Teams to which the Product is available are selected. You can select other Teams with which you want to share the Product.
This tab displays the actions performed on the Product. For example, if a Product is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Product. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, select the required Product events in the Event tab.

Note When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help. |
This tab lists the various Price Lists for the Product. The Location and UOM Properties can be edited in Talisma Business Administrator.

The name of the Price List. |

Description |
The description of the Price List. |
|
Location |
The location for which the Price List is relevant. To be able to select a value from the Location list, values must be created in Talisma Business Administrator. |

UOM |
The Unit Of Measurement (UOM) for the Price List. To be able to select a value from the UOM list, values must be created in Talisma Business Administrator. |

List Price |
The unit price of the Product. When a Price List is added for a Product in an Opportunity or Order, its associated List Price is automatically displayed as the Base Price of the Product. |
This tab displays the list of related Products.

Related Product |
The name of the related Product. |
|
Description |
The description of the related Product. |
|
Created On |
The date on which the related Product was created. |
|
Created By |
The name of the Talisma User who created the related Product. |
|
Last Modified |
The date on which the related Product was last modified. |
This tabs lists Properties of the Contact Object. For more information, see Contact Tabs and Properties.
This tab lists the Talisma Users who are associated with the Product. The name details of the User are displayed in the User column in this tab.
Lists Properties created for the Personal tab in Talisma Business Administrator. The tab is visible in Talisma Client only for the User who created these Properties. Note that the Personal tab is visible for the User only if the User has created at least one Property for the tab.
