Target Tabs and Properties

The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Target Object.

The Target window contains the following tabs:

•   Properties Tab

•   Interactions Tab

•   History Tab

•   Target Flow Tab

•   Personal Tab

Before reading the descriptions in this topic, see “Using Property Tables in Talisma Client Help”.

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Target Object. Values for these Properties are set in Talisma Client.

Mailing List

The name of the Mailing List from which the Target was generated. This Property is updated when the Target is added to a Campaign through the specified Mailing List.

Date of Entry into Step

The date on which the Target entered the Step specified in the Present Step Property.

If the Contact is a Target in multiple Campaigns, unique Targets are created in Talisma for each Campaign in which the Contact is the Target. Click a Target in the Target Table View to view Target details for a Campaign.

Campaign in currently

The Campaign with which the Target is currently associated. A Target can be a part of multiple Campaigns.

Product Offered

The Product offered to the Target in the Campaign.

Target Status

The status of the Target. This value can be Active or Inactive. An active Target progresses from one step of a Campaign to the next, while an inactive Target remains static.

Step in currently

The Target is currently in this Step of the Campaign.

Date of creation

The date and time the base object record was added as a Target to a Campaign.

Incubate till

The date until when the Target will not move to the next step in the Campaign. When a Target is incubated, the Target remains at the current Step for a specified time, while other Targets in the Mailing List flow through the Campaign as defined.

Team

The Team to which the Campaign belongs.

Target name

The value in this field is displayed in the following format:

Target for <Object> Object ID: <Object ID>.

Cumulative cost

The total cost of all steps through which the Target has progressed in the Campaign.

Action status

Indicates whether the action in the current Step of the Campaign has been completed.

Current cost

The value in the Cost of step field of a Campaign action to which the Target has progressed.

Note

When Talisma is upgraded to version, to view the updated value of this Property for Targets that existed in a previous version, open the Target window.

Base Object The object that is set as the base object in the campaign from which the target record is created. Cannot be edited or deleted

Bounce Type

Note: This property is not displayed by default. To view this property, right-click in the header row of the Targets tab in a campaign and select this property from the Select Columns dialog box.

Based on whether the mailer sent at the Send mailer step is hard or soft bounced, this property can have one of the following values:

•   Hard Bounced

•   Soft Bounced

Cannot be edited or deleted

Mobile

The mobile phone number of the Target. If you edit the value of this Property for a Contact, it is automatically updated for the relevant Targets.

Send SMS

This property inherits the value in the Send SMS Property of the Contact. It also indicates whether SMS type of Mailers can be sent to a Contact when the Contact is added as a Target in a Campaign.

By default, the value of this Property is No. You can change its value to Yes.

Participant name

The name of the Participant who is created as the Target.

Preference for Phone Campaigns (Group)

This Property determines if a Target can be called by a Talisma User in an outbound phone Campaign.

Can be called for this Campaign

Indicates whether the Target can be contacted by phone for the current outbound phone Campaign.

By default, the value of this Property is set to Yes.

 

Mailer Status

Note

This property is not displayed by default. To view this property, right-click in the header row of the Targets tab in a campaign and select this property from the Select Columns dialog box.

The status of the Mailer. It indicates whether the Mailer was sent and delivered to the Target. This Property can have one of the following values:

•   Sent: Indicates that the Mailer has been sent to the Target.

•   Sent Failed: Indicates that the Mailer was not dispatched successfully.

•   Undelivered: Indicates that the Mailer was not delivered to the Target.

•   Opened: Indicates that the Target viewed the Mailer. This value is displayed only if Read receipts are enabled for the computer on which the Campaign Dispatcher used for sending the Mailer is installed.

•   Responded: Indicates that the Target has sent a response to the Mailer.

•   Excluded - Bounced: Indicates that the email address of the target was hard or soft bounced, and it was excluded from the list of recipients at the Send mailer step.

•   Excluded - Preferences Mismatched: Indicates that the target did not receive the email sent at the Send mailer step because preferences in the campaign did not match the target's preferences.

Note 

The Participant name Property is displayed in the Target window only if Talisma Event Management is installed on Talisma Server.

Interactions Tab

This tab displays all Interaction items that are associated with the Target. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see Interaction Tabs and Properties.

History Tab

This tab displays the actions performed on the Target. For example, if a Target Property is changed, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Target. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Target Event options from the Event tab.

Note 

•   When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. Audit can be enabled using the Audit Configuration feature in Talisma Business Administrator.

•   However, by default, audit is enabled for the Participation status Property in the Properties tab. Audit cannot be disabled for this Property.

•   For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Target Flow Tab

This tab displays details about the Target's progress from one step to another in a Campaign.

Property

Description

Previous Campaign

The previous Campaigns to which the Target belonged.

Previous Step

The previous Step of the Campaign in which the Target was before progressing to the current Step.

Present Campaign

The present Campaign to which the Target belongs.

Present Step

The Target is currently in this Step of the Campaign.

Date of Entry into step

The date on which the Target entered the Step specified in the Step in Currently Property.

Step Cost

The cost of the current Step. This value is used to compute the Target cost.

Personal Tab

Lists Properties created for the Personal tab in Talisma Business Administrator. The tab is visible in Talisma Client only for the User who created these Properties. Note that the Personal tab is visible for the User only if the User has created at least one Property for the tab.

Columns Displayed in a Related Object Tab

Interaction is the only Object related to the Target Object. This Object tab displays Properties as column headers. You can customize the columns that are displayed in this tab.
