Term Tabs and Properties

The Term Object is a Shared Object in Talisma. The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Term Object.

The Term Object contains the following tabs:

•   Properties Tab

•   Share Tab

•   History Tab

•   Categories Tab

•   Leads Tab

•   Enrollments Tab

•   Contacts Tab

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Note 

In a scenario where your organization has integrated Talisma CRM with an SIS, values of Properties will be automatically updated when Talisma CRM is synchronized with the SIS.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Term Object.

External SIS ID

A unique identifier for the corresponding Term in the SIS.

Name *

Name of the Term. For example, Fall 2009.

Owner

The name of the User who created the Term. By default, the User who creates the Term is the Owner.

Created On

The date and time when the Term record was created.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Last Updated

The date and time when the Term record was last modified.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Code *

A code for the Term item.

Active *

This Property can have one of the following values:

•   Yes - Indicates that the Term Object item is displayed when you search for the Term Object item in the Term field of a related Object.

•   No - Indicates that the Term Object item is not displayed when you search for the Term Object item in the Term field of a related Object.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Start Date

Date on which the Term is scheduled to commence. By default, when creating the Term, this value is None.

End Date

Date on which the Term is scheduled to be completed. By default, when creating the Term, this value is None.

Share Tab

This tab lists the Teams in which you have the Manage Term Permission. The Teams with which the Term is shared are selected. This selection can be modified.

As Term is a shared Object, you must share the Term with at least one Team when creating the Term.

History Tab

This tab lists the actions performed on the Term. For example, if a Term is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Term. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Term Event options from the Event tab.

Note 

When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information, about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Categories Tab

This tab lists the Categories created for the Term Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Term by selecting one or more Categories.

Leads Tab

This tab lists the Leads associated with the Term. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Lead Tabs and Properties”.

Enrollments Tab

This tab lists the Enrollments associated with the Term. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Enrollment in the Enrollment window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Enrollment Tabs and Properties”.

Contacts Tab

This tab lists the Contacts associated with the Term. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Contact in the Contact window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Contact Tabs and Properties”.
