Scope

The following outlines the scope of data included in the integration.

Operational Data

Operational data includes Student, student-related, and Account related elements that are integrated between the two systems.

Student Operational Data

Student and academic record data for enrolled students is integrated one-way from CampusNexus Student to CampusNexus Engage.

Reference Data

Reference data is used to categorize, classify or otherwise qualify or constrain operational transaction data in the two systems.

CampusNexus Student acts as the system of record for reference data items. Program and Area of Study are examples of this type of data elements.

Reference data integration occurs from CampusNexus Student to CampusNexus Engage.

Records of these entities are created in CampusNexus Engage as a result of one-way integration from CampusNexus Student.

Operational Entities

Records of these entities are created in CampusNexus Engage as a result of one-way integration from CampusNexus Student. However, the Contact, Application and Enrollment entities are updated as described:

  • Address

  • Contact: Instances of the Contact entity are updated and synced bidirectionally.

  • Account (High school, College, Agency Branch)

  • Academic Period Detail

  • Previous Education

  • Application: On syncing from CampusNexus Engage to CampusNexus Student, equivalent Enrollment records are created in CampusNexus Student.

  • Enrollment: Integration occurs from CampusNexus Student to CampusNexus Engage. Further updates to instances of the Enrollment entity occur only in CampusNexus Student. Such updates are then synced with equivalent enrollment records in CampusNexus Engage.
