Configuring Phone Number Format on the Portal

The Mobile Phone field on the Profile and Prospect Inquiry portal pages are out-of-the-box (OOTB) configured to use the following phone format:

<+ Country Code> <Phone number>

The phone format in the phone number field helps in capturing consistent data on the portal.

Steps to Configure Phone Format for a Phone Number Field on the Portal

To configure the phone format for a phone number field on a portal page, perform the following steps:

1. Open the Sitefinity URL.

2. Go to Pages and view the required portal page in edit mode to view the Edit option for the fields and controls on the page.

3. For the required phone number field, select the Edit button.

4. In the Text Edit dialog box, perform the following steps:

   1. Select the Validation tab and in the Regex Validation field, select None.

      

   2. Select the Basic tab, and in the Templates section, in the Write field, select Phone.

      

   3. Select the Save button.

5. Select the Publish button.
