Settings Prior to Working With Appointments

This topic describes settings that must be done in other areas of Anthology Reach to enable users to work with appointments in the Staff Calendar feature. It is important to completely understand functionality in this topic as the described entities and settings are critical to the appointment module and the display of information in the My Appointments and Schedule Appointment - the pages in which users will perform all staff calendar tasks.

There are two frameworks to work with the Staff Calendar feature

  • Old Staff Calendar Framework - This framework is available to existing customers of Anthology Reach prior to version 2024.3 where the New Staff Calendar Framework setting (under Default Configuration page > Staff Calendar tab) is set to No by default. Customers are required to transition to the new staff calendar framework for a better user experience and to take advantage of ongoing product investments.

  • New Staff Calendar Framework - This framework is available for customer with fresh installation of Anthology Reach 2024.3 and later, where the New Staff Calendar Framework setting (under Default Configuration page > Staff Calendar tab) is set to Yes by default. Additionally, the portal must be on TPC version 6.1 or above to use the new staff calendar framework features.
