Area of Interest Tabs and Properties

The Area of Interest Object is a Global Object in Talisma. The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Area of Interest Object.

The Area of Interest Object contains the following tabs:

• Properties Tab

• History Tab

• Categories Tab

• Leads Tab

• Contacts Tab

• Program Versions Tab

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Note

In a scenario where your organization has integrated Talisma CRM with an SIS, values of Properties will be automatically updated when Talisma CRM is synchronized with the SIS.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Area of Interest Object.

Property (* indicates that the Property is mandatory)	Description	Value Updated by (Talisma/User)	Property Can be Edited/Deleted in TBA
External SIS ID	A unique identifier for the corresponding Area of Interest item in the SIS.
Name *	The name of the Area of Interest item. For example, Culinary art.
Owner	The Talisma user who created the Area of Interest item. By default, the User who creates the Area of Interest item is its owner.
Created On	The date and time when the record was created.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Last Updated	The date and time when the record was last updated.		Cannot be edited or deleted
Code *	The code for the Area of Interest item.
Active *	This Property can have one of the following values: • Yes - Indicates that the Area of Interest Object item is displayed when you search for the Area of Interest Object item in the Area of Interest field of a related Object. • No - Indicates that the Area of Interest Object item is not displayed when you search for the Area of Interest Object item in the Area of Interest field of a related Object.		Cannot be edited or deleted

This tab lists the actions performed on the Area of Interest item. For example, if the Area of Interest item is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Area of Interest item. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Area of Interest Event options from the Event tab.

Note

When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information, about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Categories Tab

This tab lists the Categories created for the Area of Interest Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Area of Interest by selecting one or more Categories.

Leads Tab

This tab lists the Leads associated with the Area of Interest. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Lead Tabs and Properties”.

Contacts Tab

This tab lists the Contacts associated with the Area of Interest item. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Contact in the Contact window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Contact Tabs and Properties”.

Program Versions Tab

This tab lists the Program Versions associated with the Area of Interest item. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Program Version in the Program Version window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Program Version Tabs and Properties”.
