Lead Source Tabs and Properties

The Lead Source Object is a Shared Object in Talisma. The table in this topic describes the Properties available in the various tabs of the Lead Source Object.

The Lead Source Object contains the following tabs:

•   Categories Tab

•   Contacts Tab

•   Accounts Tab

•   Leads Tab

•   Applications Tab

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Note 

In a scenario where your organization has integrated Talisma CRM with an SIS, values of Properties will be automatically updated when Talisma CRM is synchronized with the SIS.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Lead Source Object.

External SIS ID

A unique identifier for the corresponding Lead Source in the SIS.

Name *

The name of the Lead Source. For example, Advertisement.

Owner

The Talisma User who created the Lead Source. By default, the User who creates the Lead Source is its owner.

 

Created On

The date and time when the Lead Source was created.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Last Updated

The date and time when the Lead Source was last modified.

Cannot be edited or deleted

Code *

A code for the Lead Source.

Active *

This Property can have one of the following values:

•   Yes - Indicates that the Lead Source Object item is displayed when you search for the Lead Source Object item in the Lead Source field of a related Object.

•   No - Indicates that the Lead Source Object item is not displayed when you search for the Lead Source Object item in the Lead Source field of a related Object.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Share Tab

This tab lists the Teams in which you have the Manage Lead Source Permission. The Teams with which the Lead Source is shared are selected. This selection can be modified.

When creating a Lead Source, you must share it with at least one Team.

History Tab

This tab lists the actions performed on the Lead Source. For example, if a Lead Source is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Lead Source. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Lead Source Event options from the Event tab.

Note 

When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Categories Tab

This tab lists the Categories created for the Lead Source Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Lead Source by selecting one or more Categories.

Contacts Tab

This tab lists the Contacts associated with the Lead Source. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Contact in the Contact window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Contact Tabs and Properties”.

Accounts Tab

This tab lists the Accounts associated with the Lead Source. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Account in the Account window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Account Tabs and Properties”.

Leads Tab

This tab lists the Leads associated with the Lead Source. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see “ Lead Tabs and Properties”.

Applications Tab

This tab lists the Applications associated with the Lead Source. For information about Properties displayed in this tab, see “Application Tabs and Properties”.
