Transferring a Custom Object Item

Permissions Required

The Permissions you require will depend on whether you are working with a Global, Team, or Shared custom Object. For more information about Permissions, see Global Permissions and Team Level Permissions.

Talisma enables you to transfer a Team-level <custom Object> to Teams outside the one in which it was created. To do so, you require the Assign/Transfer <custom Object> Permission in the source Team.

To Transfer a Custom Object Item

1.  Using the Left pane, locate and select the required <custom Object>.

- OR -

Open the required <custom Object>.

2.  From the <custom Object> menu, select Transfer.

- OR -

Right-click the <custom Object> item in the Table View and select Transfer from the shortcut menu.

- OR -

Open the required <custom Object> item, and select Transfer from the <custom Object> menu.

The Transfer to dialog box is displayed. The dialog box lists Users who belong to Teams to which you have been granted access. It also list Teams to which you have not been granted access.

You can transfer the <custom Object> item to a User in a Team to which you have been granted access, or to a Team to which you have not been granted access.

The Transfer to dialog box is displayed.

3.  Select a Team or User from the list.

4.  Click OK.

The <custom Object> is transferred to the selected Team or User.

Note 

•   After the <custom Object> item is transferred to another Team or User, the transfer Event is recorded in the History tab of the <custom Object> item.

•   If you are in the <custom Object> Table View, you can select multiple <custom Object> items and transfer them to the required User or Team.
