An Element is a group of Fields in Forms Builder. You can create small specific Elements containing related Fields and reuse these Elements in different Forms. For example, you can combine fields related to the name of the user such as First Name, Middle Name, and Surname into an Element.
Elements consist of Field Groups and Form Sections. Commonly used Fields may be grouped together into Field Groups and Form Sections for ease of use when creating forms. Form Sections can also be configured to allow users to enter multiple records in a single Form Section.
In Forms Builder, you can combine:
Fields to create a Field Group or Form Section Element
Field Groups can be grouped together to create a Form Section Element
Field Groups and Form Sections can be grouped together to create a Form Template
Field Groups are similar to Form Sections but have a different label for easier identification. They provide a way for you to create groups of Fields. Form Sections can be configured to allow users to enter multiple records in to a grid in a Form Section. You can devise your own convention to combine Fields into Field Groups or Form Sections. For example, you can:
Combine a maximum of five Fields into a Field Group.
Combine Fields and Field Groups into a Form Section.
Combine related fields such as address fields to create a multi-record Form Section.
