Combining Elements in a Form

You can combine field groups and field sections together on the Canvas to create a form template. You can then reuse the Form Template in different Sequences.

To Combine Elements
  1. In Build mode, click the Elements tab. All existing Elements are displayed.

  2. Drag the required Field Groups and Field Elements to the Canvas.

Text in the title bar of the Canvas changes to Forms Template and the Element expands on the Canvas to display its constituents.

  3. Move required Element to the gray box that is displayed in the expanded Element.

  4. Click SAVE. The Save As dialog box is displayed:

If the Display Name is blank, it will be populated with the Element Save As name when you tab out of the Save As field. You can then change the default Display Name as needed.

  5. Specify appropriate details in the Save As, Display Name, Description, and Tags fields. You can save the group of fields as a Field Group, Form Section, or Form Template.

  6. Click SAVE.

    The Element is saved.
