Insert Applicant Info Rule

The Insert Applicant Info Rule is used to insert a Lead record including the fields (Rule Parameters) submitted by the Lead into the CampusNexus Student database where the sequence is not in an anonymous mode. The Insert Applicant Info rule creates a Student Master record with the information provided by the applicant at the time of submitting the information.

Configuration

When you include the Insert Applicant Info rule in a Sequence, the Insert Applicant Info window is displayed:

Fields Description
Campus The name of the Campus to which the Lead belongs. Leads will be required to specify the Name and Campus when submitting their information to the institution.
Default Config If the lead selects a different Campus that has not been configured in the rule then the configuration settings for the Default Configuration Campus will be used.
Default Lead Source The Lead Source name. This drop-down list is displayed only if you click the expand expand icon icon.
Pending Applicants Pending application process is enabled if you select the check box. This check box is displayed only if you click the expand expand icon icon.
Application Type The Applicant record type that will be created when a lead applies. This drop-down list is displayed only if you click the expand expand icon icon.
Default Lead Type The default Lead Type that will be used when creating the Lead record. This drop-down list is displayed only if you click the expand expand icon icon.
New Lead Status The status of the Lead before the applicant record is created. This drop-down list is displayed only if you click the expand expand icon icon.
Default Admissions Rep The name of the Admissions Rep who will be assigned by default to the Lead. The Admissions Rep is displayed based on the selected Campus. This drop-down list is displayed only if you click the expand expand icon icon.
